Quick - fan went on the chipset, I thought the whole hting would catch fire. At 150fsb, the thing is barely even warm. Any similar stories? Yes -- I did check to make sure that the sink is seated very well.

Same here, my chipset fan is going (didnt last very long) and am going to unplug it tonite. I am @ 146fsb. I would replace it with the stock HS fan from my G3ti200 (replaced with Crystal orb), but don't feel like having to undo everything and take the mobo out. I doubt the chipset will be very warm with the fan disconnected, but if it is, I will have to put the HS fan on it.

actualy chipset is ok even with just the heatsink on it (without the fan)
but if you need replacement blue/crystal orb is a better solution.
or pentium(socket 7) hsf is even better if you still keep it from your old computer
