Epox 8kha+ bios update

I have an 8kha+, the bios is dated 11/02/01. My rig is running fine is there any reason to update the bios?

Also how do I tell what revision of the board I am using. The recommended processors list shows a REV 1.3 and a REV 2.0. I am going to assume that I have the 1.3 since my bios is kinda old.

The Rev number should be printed on the motherboard,as for BIOS flashing ,really no need to flash if it`s working fine,some people just like flashing to have the latest BIOS like driver updates however there`s always a small risk involved,in your case you `ve no problems so don`t bother.

Where on the board would I see the revision number. I looked and didn't see anything.

I beleive it`s near the PCI slots,so look again.

Yes it is right above the last PCI slot. My flashlight was dying and I had to recharge it last night. I have REV 2.0, cool I can use the XP 2100+
