I was wondering if 512mb pc2100 DDR ECC Registered would work on this board? I accidently ordered this kind of ram when I ordered my mobo combo from www.unitedmicro.com. A while later I was reading up on this board and it said it supported NON-ECC ram. I then talked to people on www.hardforum.com and on irc and some said yes, some said no.. What do you think?😕
 
I tried both Apacer (samsung chips) and Crucial separately without a problem. So I do not hink it is picky.

Using DDR registred RAM ?
 
Currently I'm running 2 sticks of Crucial ram, 256mb ddr each. One is ECC the other not. ( I'd bought the ecc one as at first it looked like the 8KHA+ supported it, then found out later it didn't ) Both sticks run just fine. The board just ignores the fact that it's ECC and uses both sticks just fine.
