Epox 8KHA+ and CPU list

Is anyone here running a XP2000 on an Epox 8KHA+? Was a bios upgrade needed?

I've got an XP1700@1900 (1.6GHz) with no problems. It shouldn't need a BIOS upgrade, but that depends on when the board was manufactured. I've never had a problem updating the BIOS on an Epox board though.
Is this a Thoroughbred processor you're putting in?

Not sure if it is a Thoroughbred or not.

I believe the bios dated 12/10/01 goes up to 2000+,I know the last official BIOS(6/12/02) has XP 2200+ support,the latest beta bios has XP 2600+(T-BRED) support( for REV 2.0 Epox 8KHA+ board).

Mem where did you see what procs the bios flashes support? I looked at the Epox site and only found a short discription of the bugs they fixed.

Desslok,most of it by memory since I have the same board and have read the info that was posted at their site about the new BIOS updates when they appeared,there`s a cpu check list at this address ftp://ftp.epox.com/motherboard/support/Manual/cpu-support.pdf .

It tells you which REV model and BIOS is needed for CPU support.

oops .pdf over at epox.nl ver. 2.0 dated 9Sept 03 2k2 TBred up to 2600+ but not 2100+ TBred ..

Why would it not take a 2100?
