I used this mobo in a machine I built for my daughter. It has been fine for a couple of months. She booted today and got a long beep and no video signal. I re set the memory, the video card and the CMOS. Same thing. Replaced the memory, reset CMOS, same thing. Replaced the video card, reset CMOS, same thing. Put old card and memory back in, reset CMOS and it started to boot. Had video signal for about 5 seconds then I got a long beep, lost the video signal and got a 7F error code. Fans and HDD spin up. Just read over on Motherboards where Newegg is no longer going to sell Epox. Did this mobo die?

Well, I tried a third video card. It's running now but I need to restart a bunch of times to be sure. I am not buying anymore video cards off the For Sale/Trade Form. This is two that went bad. I guess they O/C the heck out of them, then sell them.

I'm a 8K7A+ owner myself. Thanks for posting your solution. I'll just add it to my just-in-case-database-portion-of-the-brain :D

Make aboslutely sure they are bad before you start making claims about the people who sell video cards on the for/sale trade forum. I have bought multitudes of vid cards off the forum and have never had a problem. I am also selling a video card right now. And btw, it has been o/ced but only a little :) :p
