Win2k gurus!
I am building my system with a clean install of Win2k, I've tried doing a 2k original install (which works), but as soon as I go to SP2, I get an inaccesible boot drive error whenever I reboot, I've tried to patch with sp2 from the original cd as well as slipstream installations and get the same error each time sp2 makes it onto my system. I've checked the bios settings and the boot order seems to be correct, and everythign works fine in regular win2k or sp1, it's sp2 that's causing me huge headaches and I'm about at my wits end about it. any ideas would be much appreciated!
current config:
epox 8k7a (non raid)
ibm 60 gig 60gxp
sblive! 5.1
geforce2 ultra 64
philips cdrw
1.44 floppy

addendum: strangely enough the boot error does not occur when i switch to a ata33 cable
