I have the above board..and a new 1.4 Athlon (266).
will it work ??? Epox site does not say
anyone tried it??

They tested it on the 8K7A+ but not on the 8K7A, the only difference is the 8K7A+ has a built in RAID controller. See it here in Epox's recomended CPU list.

The raid controller will have no effect on the support of the XP.
 
I have a 1.4 Tbird(266) and Epox 8K7a+ runing A OK. The (+) board is the same as yours, except with Raid. If your question was about the new XP CPU, according all data I have read; will run on all boards that can use 266 FSB. Put it togeather and have fun!!
