I just installed my new processor(t-bird 1.33) and motherboard(epox 8k7a), and everything worked fine, without any problems. I also installed all of my other hardware (soundcards, modem, etc.) and they worked fine. However, after I downloaded and installed the VIA 4in1 drivers from VIA's website, I rebooted my computer, and everything went haywire. For some reason, my 2 cd-rom drives don't show up in My Computer, and do not exist in the device manager either. Also, in the device manager, under hard disk controllers, the "Secondary IDE controller (dual fifo)" has an exclamation mark next to it, and the properties say that it is either not installed, not working, etc. Can anyone help me with this? Everything was working fine before I installed the 4in1 drivers from the VIA website. I've heard of some issues between the Sound Blaster Live, which I have, and the epox motherboard.
