Epox 8k7a problem

I have an 8k7a mb with 1.4g athlon 256 cruc mem 40gig ibm deskstar hd, geforce2 mx200 sblive that I'm putting together, everything went ok until it boots, it goes thru all the codes and then FF, then the screen reads: verifying dmi pool data, then it stops, nothing else happens, I have win bootdisc in and the next step would be to load windows I guess but that's as far as it gets. I set the mem jumper to 133 everything else is default, I also removed the soundcard just in case, also tried it with voodoo3, same prob, any help would be appreciated, thanks. P.S. already tried reseating the mem, no diff.

Windows is sensitive to heat. Esp W2K in my experience so far. I'd check to make sure your voltage is 1.75 (default for the 1.4) then make sure your HSF unit is seated properly.

Make sure your floppy shows up in the standard cmos settings and that the floppy is set as the primary boot device.

Thanks for everyones input but I figured it out, it was a bad boot disc, I had just used that disc a week prior for formatting so I didn't think it was the disc but when I tried it on my own comp I had the same prob, made new boot disc and wind is loading as I write this, thanks for the replies.
