EPOX 8K7A Problem with Counter Strike

sup people.... i have:

Epox 8K7A
1 GHz Athlon
30 Gig Maxtor HD
MSI Geforce2 Pro 64MB video card
SB Live!

when i play CS it seems to freeze after about 4 min of play time, usually when the round ends and starts over.
i have no idea what is wrong.
my BIOS is the newest 8-24 version and i installed all the drivers from the installation CDs.

the thing is that before i installed the Mother Board drivers and flashed the BIOS, everything was fine. it was only
after i flashed the BIOS and installed the MB drivers that CS started to freeze up on me...

someone please HELP!!!

After you flashed the bios did you load setup defaults? Try resettin the bios with the jumper.

Disable all video shadowing in Bios,also disable "system bios cacheable" ,last resort is reformat and clean install, btw check for IRQ conflicts and try slower memory speed settings for your main ram.
