Epox 8k7a Powersave problem

I have the Epox 8k7a with a 1.33 T-Bird running XP with no problems except my powersave features. The system will power down into standby mode without any problems the first time, but the second time it trys it gets to the "preparing to standby" WinXP screen and the harddrive LED just quickly blinks from time to time and the system is now stuck. Cold reboot is required. Just wondering if anybody else has this problem or it is just me.

I've tried both POS to STR powerdown modes. It does the same thing if you try to hibrenate . . . it works the first time but if you wait till it should do it again, it gets stuck in the same "preparing for hibrenate" with the flashing HD LED. I've tried to change every setting in the BIOS that even relates to powersaving or HD performance. It works once than not again . . . so weird.

Any advice? Thanks!

it's updated with the latest october release . . . tried that already thanks. I still have the same problem . . .
