EPOX 8K7A+ Motherboard Problems?

I just read the EPOX Motherboard thread stating of some Sound Card Problems with the EPOX 8K7A+ Motherboard.

Are there really Sound and other annoying problems, and what are the best fixes?

I currently have the ASUS A7V Motherboard with a AMD Athlon 950 MHZ CPU.

I will be replacing it with the EPOX 8K7A+ Motherboard with an AMD Athlon 1.4 GHZ CPU.

I am giving the ASUS Motherboard and the Athlon 950 MHZ CPU to a relative.

I was sure that the EPOX 8K7A+ Motherboard was the best out there after two weeks of intensive research.

I personally like the 8K7A+ that I upgraded to. I tried the 8K7A first, but sold it to wait for a decent price on the + , since I like my drives set as Master on their own channels, and the RAID options are there if I ever want to use them. I have had no major issues with the board, and it is very fast and stable. I run my hard drives on the HighPoint controller, (non-RAID) and it performs very well.
