I have had the EPOX 8K7A+ Motherboard Revision 1.1 for a while now, and for the last month when I turn on the Computer I have the following problems.
1. I get power but no Video.
2. The EPOX Motherboard LED status starts immediately at "FF", and just remains there.
3. Normally when the Computer Boots up normally, the LED status cycles up and changes through various groups of letters nad numbers until it remains at the status of "FF".
4. I have to keep trying of power off and on many times sometimes for hours until the Motherboard works normally.
5. I have reseated all of the Motherboard itself, Motherboard's Daughter Cards, the CPU, the RAM, the Power Supply's Power Connectors, and all of the other Connectors.
6. I even disconnected the Power Connectors and the Backup Battery.
7. None of this makes any difference.
8. Finally after many hours of Rebooting the Computer works and the Motherboard's "LED" Stautus Light Indicator cycles up to the status of "FF".
9. I have had to try this over and over again many times over the last month, so now I just leave the Computer powered on at all times.
10. I have a PC Power And Cooling Silencer 400 ATX Power Supply which is a very good $ 175.00 Power Supply which is rated very good.
11. Any Ideas out there?
