Epox 8k7a+ Misdetecting HDDs

Hi. I've got an Epox 8k7a+ and a problem. I've got 3 harddrives installed currently, all with capactites of 40gb. On the primary IDE channel, I've got a Seagate Barrcuda IV, and in RAID-0 on the
Highpoint Raid channels, I've got 2 Maxtor's. The problem is, they are all being detected as 30gb hard drives, both in the bios and in windows. Any ideas?

What size are the maxtors? If they are two 15's you would have 30 gig in raid 0. The other drive is not on Raid,so it is detected as an IDE drive. That should be seperate from the raid controller.


Buy promise. I have had nothing but problems with Highpoint raid. It sucks.

The HighPoint Raid is on the motherboard. The Raid-0 Array (of 2 40gb hdds) is being shown as a 60gb device. The main hard drive (40gb), which is not attached to the Highpoint controller, is being shown as a 30gb device.
