EpoX 8K7A goes Blue Screen on Power Down ...

I am building a machine for a friend and I suggested the EpoX since mine run's so well. Well ... It had the phoneix bios so we went ahead and updated to the newest. Now after the machine has been on for a while and you try to SHUT DOWN, he get's a blue screen. So he reboots and then SHUTs DOWN again.

Also, he can NOT reboot from anything. If you try to reboot from either editing the bios, or just from Windows 98SE ... it just goes black and stays.

I have 4 of these boards here now ... I need a fix or some help fast

ever hear the phrase "don't fix it if it ain't broke?"

why did you update the bios anyway? i'd try and flash it again with the same or an older bios.

I didn't explain enough .... It does it with both Bios versions ... we tried the update to fix it.

We have 1 Rev 1.0 that only has the shutdown to blue screen and we have 2 Rev 1.1 boards that have reboot and blue screen problem.

So ... I was trying to fix it with the bios flash.
