I'm not sure which is better. With the newest bios (1711) the 1/5 pci dividers kick in at >167. So I was running my tbird 1.2 at 1.46 (10x146) where the pci bus was 36.5, but tried FSB170 leading to cpu at 1.45 (8.5x170) and pci bus now 34. The APG divider stays at 1/2 but my radeon can tolerate that as can my crucial 2100 DDR memory but I have to kick up both my cpu and mem voltages a bit and downgrade the the CAS latency from 2 to 2.5. It runs hotter at 170 but so far stable. The Sisoft Sandra memory scores go up about 100 points but, for instance , my 3DMark2001 score remained about the same = 3300. Haven't tried any other benchmarks yet. Not clearly worth it at this point.
