Epox 8k7a drivers?

I decided to redo my system and boy I am having problems
so I guess I am going to try it again

In what order should I install the drivers for my system?
EPox8k7a+
256ddr
ATI radeon
SBLIVE

specifically the ones that came with the motherboard CD. Because I keep having problems with the amd driver installing all the way, it always has trouble finding a specific file...

Also, I keep getting these erros in windows and for some reason they are always kernel32.dll errors, how do I solve those?????

any help would be greatly appreciated

What operating system?

I dont install any of the drivers off the motherboard cd. Only drivers I install are the Nvidia drivers for my videocard. I'am using windows xp, I'am using the sound drivers windows xp automatically installs for my sblive mp3+, no need for the onboard via audio drivers. I'am using the EpoX 8K7A.

I would just install the drivers for your sblive and videocard, see what happends. When I first built this pc I installed the drivers off the motherboard cd and my pc would lock up and become unstable, game crash etc. Then I just installed the videocard drivers and sound and everything was fine. Worked for me, might work for you.

Scratch that I just went and bought xp, I thought I might as well go and get it, I was going to get it in a month or two anyway.

I didn't think you could run the system without installing those drivers

So Shoul I just run xp and install the video driver and that is it

You can also install a new driver from Creative Labs designed for WinXP. Also the AMD AGP miniport driver and forget about the Via 4-1 drivers.

I didnt install the Via 4.1s or the AMD AGP miniport drivers when I moved from WinMe to WinXP.

Just did a format/ clean install of XP & have been using those default XP drivers with no issues at all.

I cant say about the onboard sound drivers, mines disabled.

Basie, did you notice better performance installing AMD miniport drivers other than the ones that came with XP?
