When I am installing the operating system, Windows sets up some drivers that should be the 4 in 1s.

My question is, if I later install the 4 in 1s, will the drivers Windows put up during installing the OS interfere with the new drivers or will the new ones just replace the old drivers automatically? I just don't want drivers in conflict. :)

downloading the newest final releases of the via 4-in-1's from viahardware.com is ALWAYS a good idea. and don't worry about conflicts, they will replace the existing ones

Why get the 4 in 1's? That is if you have a full Via chipset. 8k7a only has half of it. Epox has the specific drivers for this board on their site.

Well, the board uses the Via 686B southbridge, so the 4 in 1's minus the AGP driver, are a good idea. The ones of Epox sites are probably the same deal, minus the AGP driver, but I have found motherboard drivers on the manufacturer's site to not always be the most up to date. It doesn't hurt to use the latest 4 in 1's to make sure you got the latest versions. :)
