Epox 8k7a+ doesn't like Tbred B

I cant get the board to POST with the known-good and known-unlocked Tbred B 1700+ at any frequency, multiplier or voltage. The Tbred works fine on my friend's nf7-s v.2, and my older tbird works fine on the 8k7a+, but they just dont work together. and yes, Epox says the board supports up to a 2200+ Tbred with the BIOS i have. anyone know whats up with it?
