Epox 8K7A+ Athlon 2400 support ?

Does anyone know if this board will work with an Athlon 2400 with a 266 bus. I`d like to swap out my 2000xp with a 2400xp since the chip is very inexpensive to buy. Do I need to update the bios ? Thanks for any help.
