Wondering if it's just me with this problem...
I get CRC errors when trying to copy files off the TDK VeloCD 16-10-40x.
Reading seems fine, but copying files to the hard drive causes writing errors.
I've switched it from IDE2 to IDE1, tried it as a slave and master, changed ribbons, updated the Velo firmware to 5.32, tried all the available 8k7a bios, to changed operating systems, and tried many different CD's.
All have resulted in the same problem.
I have also switched the VeloCD with other CD/CD-r drives on my EPoX and the others work perfect.
I have also switched the VeloCD into my P3-650 computer with an Abit BE6-II motherboard and the VeloCD works flawlessly.
I'm chalking it up to a incompatability with the 8k7a and VeloCD 16-10-40x, but would like to confirm this with others.
