epox 8k7a and MBM 5

hey guys, I'm running winXP and let it do all the configuration for my system during installation (except video card, i updated the drivers). I was trying to check the temps on my motherboard (Epox 8k7a) and downloaded and installed MBM 5. In BIOS it clearly can detect the temp, but in MBM it says all sensors are zero.. any explanation? does Epox or AMD offer a temp monitoring program?

You have to mess around with the sensor configurations a bit...I forget what the exact settings are now but if you play with the settings, keep on clicking on "apply," and seeing what happens, after a while it will pick up. I'll post the settings I have on my machine later if I can find them.

I'm running Windows 2000 Professional, incidentally...but that has basically nothing to do with anything.

lol, that's what i thought.

OK I just tried to mess with MBM but couldn't get it to work. The best I did was make it read the first sensor at -176 c 🙂
I have no idea what I am doing in that program though... so if someone would like to help me out that would be great. Also shouldn't Epox include monitoring software with their motherboard?

Please help me out guys!!!!

There is a program that you can get off the EPoX website, called USDM. Seems to work okay. However, you won't be able to run MBM and USDM at the same time: MBM knocks USDM out of commission until MBM is unloaded.
