Epox 8k7a and low drive index on SANDRA PRO

System: 1. AMD 1.4 GHz Athlon/Win2000 Pro/512Mb Crucial DDR 2100 @CAS
2.5
2. HD = Maxtor 45 Gb/UDMA-100/7200RPM
3. On installation, I only loaded the AMD-provided miniport
driver; I did NOT load the VIA 4-in-1 driver set.

My Drive Index is only 20,521 (compared to a similar drive as per SANDRA, which got 24,000). Any thoughts?

Igmore it and try a decent HDD benchmark, the SiSoftSandra benches are notoriously unreliable and inconsistent.
