Epox 8k7a and IDETOOL

Does the IDETOOL utility provided by EPox on the provided CD installation disk work with the AMD/VIA chipset combo. Try as I might, I cannot seem to get this utility installed on my computer. I've tried using the 4in1 setup, and the separate IDE3011 bus master driver setup, and none of these will load the IDETOOL utility. I've even tried copying the executable and accociated files to my HD and tried to run them, but it didn't run that way. How do I get this program to run on the 8k7a?
