Epox 8k5A3+ Problems

This ole KT333 sytem was put together by myself for a buddy a few yrs ago now I have to fix it. The system wont boot unless you reset the CMOS most of the time. Sometimes I even have to move the ram to different slots. What do you think. MB hosed or maybe bad ram? The power supply tests perfect and is only a few months old. Should I bother with this old board or just scrap it? Maybe a battery? Thanks All
