Epox 8k5a2 with 4 IDEs

I currently have 1 HDD, 1 DVD Rom, and 1 CD-RW. I will be putting another HDD in there for backup purposes (having just had a failure last week and am now paranoid).

What would be the best configuration for the drives. I don't do any "on-the-fly" burning from optical to optical, but I do some burning from HDD1 to CDRW (a few cds per week). I do most installations and program-running from the DVD when a disk is needed (for games, etc). And I plan to ghost my HDD1 to HDD2 every week or so (HDD2 will also be used for a ghost image of my son's machine across the LAN as well).

So, based on that information, what would be the best setup for all the IDEs? And are there any known issues with running 4 IDEs on the Epox 8k5a2? And the only other problem is that the flat ribbon cables aren't long enough in the right places to connect my devices... anyone know any B&M retailers (or any online with low shipping for such a small item) that carry longer cables?

i would do:
boot disk hdd (primary, master)
backup hdd (primary, slave)
cdrw (secondary, master)
dvdrom (secondary, slave)

If you can't find them locally (should be able to though), you might check these cables from SVC. Reliable online retailer. Depending on your location, shipping won't kill the deal and you can figure it out easily on their site.
