Epox 8k5a2+ Video issue

I need some help. I have a 8k5a2+ Installed 3 days ago, clean install of windows lastnight.

When i run 3d, it runs good but it jerks every 5-10 seconds. Its a All In Wonder Radeon 7500. Its never done this before.

I've tried everything. New drivers, new BIOS for the MB, 4in1's are installed. SP1 had no effect. Thats all i can think of now. Any help?

I know this may seem silly, but make sure all of your drives are working in UDMA mode. This can cause the skipping you mentioned. If you still have trouble, when I get home we can compare settings since one of my 8K5A2+ is running a AIW 7500 as well.

Hmm. DMA is enabled.

I guess i can still try with failsafe option in bios. I dont have the ATI software installed yet, i'll try that first.

The drivers are in stalled just not the multimedia stuff.

Are you using the latest Catalyst drivers?

They need to be installed in a certain order for the AIW cards...

Yeah i think thats it. See the prob is i dont have the diskes here at school that came with hte board.

So im going to take my beast home, delete my video drivers and reinstall the old ones, then do the upgrades.
