I've had this board for a few weeks now and a I like it, except for one small thing; I was wondering if anybody else has noticed this and/or can tell me how to fix it:
The computer will boot correctly after a complete shutdown (ie, turning it on in the morning or hitting the reset button) but hangs probably 50-75% of the time that I try a soft reboot (Start-->shutdown-->restart in Windows XP & 2k). It will shut the computer down, bring it back up, get to the POST test, and then stop. The memory count does not come up, nor do the multiplier settings or DRAM clockspeed (I've got that goofy splash screen disabled
)Now, at this point, I can hit DELETE and still get into the BIOS and once there just choose "Exit without saving", which will restart the computer, or I can hit the reset button. But otherwise it just sits there. Won't go through testing the RAID controller or bring up windows. Any ideas as to why this might happen? It's not a big problem; just an annoying one.
