here is my setup
duron 1600+ on 8k5a2+ with hyperx 512mb.
i have 4 seaget cudas 7200.8 250gig ata100 hook up to my onboard hpt372.
raid bios is ver. 2.32
i use the drivers from the disk that came with mobo.
after windows installation.
i boot into windows and finds no disk available for the raid even though the raid mgmt. software sees it.
i was doing some reviews and found out and i had to initialize the drive through the windows disk management. Which i did. i initialized the drive and could now see it on my computer. But when i format it, right when it finished it gave me an error like "disk failure on controller 1, channel 1, drive 1" or something like that.
I just purchased all my drives brand new.
If i restart, the error goes away, but i can't access teh drive?
If anyone have this board, please let me know how u deal with it.
I'm also looking for the 2.34 hpt bios so i can upate my bios.
