I've been having a probnlem with my Epox board. Here we go:
My problem, when i run 3dmark 2001 SE, it will run but it "shutters" or "stalls" every 5 seconds or so, it run and then it "hickups" is maybe a better wording.
I have a ATI AIW 7500, at first i thought it was the problem, so i tried a Geforce2 and it does the same thing.
ALSO: i know this to not be windows fault becasue i'm on a fresh install (just a few days) and i had the same problem before.
My system:
1.4 Athlon
2 hd's on primary IDE
2 cd's on secondary IDE
256 MB DDR 3000 (Mushkin)
Linksys Lan card
Belkin Firewire card
(onboard sound)
Dont use the raid anymore (another story) its disabled now
Here is what i've tried:
Bios Update
Latest Via drivers (Hyperion sp?)
Latest Video Drivers
Bios at Failsafe Defaults, and optomized defaults
Windows Reformat (i needed it anyway
)
I dont know what else to try. I know i need to try pulling the cards out (lan, firewire)
Can anyone help me?
