I came home yesterday from work to find my "always on" computer in a state of being powered off. So thinking that there might have been a brownout or power failure of some kind I try turning it on. Well the damn thing gets all the way to the HighPoint screen and then halts. It detects the types of drives but doesn't detect the container name that I assigned and like I said halts right there. I decide to let it sleep for the night while I sleep since it was way past when I should have been in bed.
Tonight I come home and I go and tinker in the BIOS, try all kinds of settings, moved the FSB back to stock, eventually I reset back to Fail-Safe and I'm able to boot. So to make a long story short, I come to figure out that IF I enabled my FDD and tried to boot it would halt. Turn off the FDD and everything worked AOK. Strange huh? BTW, this is all after I read the other thread concerning problems with USB Keyboards/Mice and this particular board not being able to boot. That thread did not apply to my situation as I use PS/2 but never enabled those settings anyways.
Now things get better but a bit more confusing, I reflash the BIOS with the exact same version I was using. Computer boots without a hitch now. I've reset all the BIOS options back to what I had them before and even the FDD is enabled. Nothing in the event log why it turned off the other night? Nothing quirky going on with it, seems stable as a rock now. Any else experiencing weird happenings like this or is my computer once again possessed by gremlins?

EDIT: Apparently I can't spell Epox tonight to save my life!
