Epox 8K3A + 1700+ Tbred - multipliers unlocked?

Does anyone know if the 8K3A can unlock the lower multipliers, or do I need to connect the bridges? Thanks.

1700+ to 1900+ Tbred-As have often been found to be factory unlocked.

The motherboards can only unlock Tbred-Bs.

1700+ tbred should have the lower mulitipliers enabled as it im thinking, as they use the lower mults

thanks guys. my confusion stemmed from not understanding the multiplier differences between the lower multiplier CPUS and the higher multiplier CPUS.

anyway, i managed to hit 2.0ghz @ 200mhz fsb.

How???? What cpu and what temps? Is it solid?

It's an AIUGA 0245. It's stable, but only when using an 80mm Delta on alpha. Needless to say, I'm not gonna keep the Delta on there. Temps are around 55C under full load.
