Ok. I have a A64 3000+ cpu and 512mb Corsair XMS PC3200.

If you were to choose from these two boards. Which one would be best.

I've read that with a bios upgrade the Asus would be able to lock the AGP/PCI but only on certain boards, i can't seem to find much info on the Epox, but i know that the Epox boards with the Nforce3 250GB chipset are top rated.

so would it be worth the money to get the newer Epox board.

Let's say if the 2 older boards were $50 cheaper, would the Epox board with the Nforce3 chipset be worth the extra $50?

I would like to OC a little, not extreme here. Any input is welcomed.

thanks,

I'v had bad luck with Epox, and so have some of my friends. We all have had an Epox board go bad, but RMA'ed them with no trouble.

Where did you read that it has PCI/AGP working I have never heard that... I'm pretty sure thats only on the KT800 PRO chipset not the regular.
