I am using the on board audio in my Epox 8dra and when I install the unified drivers for the nforce mobos, I never get the audio control panel that you see on Nvidia's website and come with the drivers.
http://www.nvidia.com/view.asp?IO=nf_audio_01 (screenshots of the utility that I am referring too.)
I first install the lastest version from their site, once I realize the control panel was not there I uninstalled and reinstalled the drivers that come with the CD for the mobo. Still in audio control panel, I then installed the lastest version again, and of course no audio control panel.
I cant seem to figure out what I'm doing wrong or why I dont get this option...
Here are my specs
Windows XP SP 1 (installed the SP 1 before I installed the audio drivers)
Epox 8dra
XP 2500+
pc2700 corsair
Maxtor 60 GB ATA 133, Maxtor 30 GB ATA 66
Onboard Nforce Sound
3Com Fast Ethernet Card
Geforce 4 4600
Nothing is overclocked, the CPU interface is set to Aggressive timings.
Anyone else having this issue or know what to do to resolve it?
