hey guys, i just got my comp running with my 8k7a and have to say i am seriously impressed. It's such a nice board!!! I just came from a defective kk266 to this and I am so impressed. The boot-up times are faster, it works better, it's laid out nicely! I love the wake on keyboard thing! it's soooooooooooooo cool.... sorry for the rant =)

OK, getting down to my question though. I installed the onboard audio drivers for it, and for the most part I think the sound is great. Except when I'm playing Counter-Strike sometimes, because the sound gets messed up (it echos). Also if a couple of sounds go off at once they get really really messed up... I am coming from a kk266, so maybe im expecting too much from onboard audio. Do you guys experience these problems? Also if I were to buy a sound card, which has the best quality for price. I don't really want to spend a ton of cash, and I don't need anything fancy ( I know the end of this message is a little out-of-forum).

Thanks!

I'll get an SB Live or Live Value. They are very cheap these days and great for gamming. A SB Live 5.1 might be a better buy if you listen to MP3's, etc.
