My local retailers claim that Epox have discontinued the 4PEA and now sell
the 4PEAD and 4PEAE (both with 'I' variants - onboard LAN). Anyone know
if these boards overclock well? The 'D is cheaper, but both use the 845PE
chipset. There is very little about them on internet.

the 4PEA-D is the basic 4PEA board without any frills.
the 4PEA+ has everything. onboard RAID, LAN, all sorts of things.
the 4PEA-E has onboard video and nothing else that really makes it stand out. I'd go for either the 4PEA+ (what I have personally) or the 4PEA-D and just throw in a NIC... I do like having the on-board LAN and I make use of it on my 4PEA+

you can read more about 'em here
