EpoX 4BDA2+ still good option?

I'm currently building upgrade to replace my old crappy Celeron system. Intel 1.6Ghz Northwood 'A' and 512Mb stick of Samsung DDR333. Now, there is a lot of motherboards to choose from. At first I had ASUS P4S533 (SiS645DX) in mind, as it seems to be the fastest DDR chipset avaible here in europe now, but after reading these boards and several reviews from 4BDA2+ board from EpoX I totally fell in love with this board. It seems very, very good if it really can run DDR at 200Mhz bus speed. Bit old chipset and might not compete with latest i845G and E, but I'm willing to sacrifice bit of performance over stability. Is this rather old EpoX board still very good option for my 1600Mhz Northwood? I'm planning to do some serious overclocking and I also require top notch performance from the board.. and most of all, stability. EpoX is pretty easy to obtain from where I live and it has quite good reputation among overclockers. If I were to wait for i845G and i845E boards to show up on local stores it might take a while.

Oh, and does anyone know anything about some sort of conflict between EpoX motherboards and Enermax PSU's? I've red somewhere that Enermax PSU's had trouble delivering steady 5V stream, is that so? Is it just some EpoX models or all their boards? Sounds bit funky to me.

Still a great option. Its amazing that this is already an "old" board! This board can run DDR400 as good or probably better than most anything out there. It has all the things needed to be a great overclocker. You don't sacrifice any performance as compared to an 845E. Maybe just a tad compared to an 845G.
3:4 ratio @ any FSB
PCI/AGP lock
Vcore up to 1.85

Look below for my full system specs to see what I run. HERE are some SiSoft benches of my system.

And welcome to Anandtech!!
