Epox 4bda2+ or Abit BD7-Raid???

I've read there have been some reboot problems with the abit board. It seems that people don't set the DDR in firmly enough. I haven't read much of the epox board. I did a quick search and didn't find much. Does anyone have the epox 4bda2+? I plan on buying one of these boards with an northwood 1.6 and overclock to hopefully 2.4. Which one would be better? Thanks.

remember, if ur overclocking that much, the increase in the frontside bus will run ur pci cards and agp card out of spec, sometimes leading to instability. both are good boards, but the abit gets my pick because it allows you to change your agp and pci speeds using dividers in the bios. also, their new bios for the board offers great voltage options. i believe u'll get a better overclock on the abit.

I have the Epox 4bda2+ and it overclocks great. I haven't encountered a time where it didn't reboot or startup just fine. There are also many features in the bios, so you can lock the AGP and PCI speeds to 66/33 respectfully and also set the memory to 1:1 or 4:3. I have heard that the new bios has a +33 feature for the memory, but I can't find an new bios for it on the Epox site. So, with all of the reboot problems on other boards, I would definetely go with the Epox board.

jonny13, what are you running at? Are you using any USB devices? I have read that some Asus P4B266 boards have problems with the USB 1.1 ports when overclocked. Thanks for the info.
