As for the actual aging process, that is almost all genetics and environmental based. If you are rode hard and put up wet, then you'll look it too much earlier on even with good genes. But with good genes, and taking care of yourself you should look damn decent for a long time.
Sun light seems to rip people apart. Those people with healthy tans all the time end up looking leathery.

Drug addiction is a really bad one. Everyone has already seen the faces of meth thing. Alcoholics tend to look really old as well. One of my friends has an alcoholic mom in her 40s and she looks a lot older than my mom who is over 60. People who hardcore smoke age bad too.

he's 23.

lol, but Googling him he's just a somewhat-scary looking dude with a giant brow ridge and a lot of skin causing creasing around the mouth. If he doesn't grey, get really wrinkly from said creasing, etc etc he'll look the same when he's 40.

Yep, although one of my grandfathers has held out really well despite being a big drinker and occasional smoker. There's pictures of him in his early 60's where he could easily be 40, although now approaching 80 he's going downhill really quickly. This would be a good thing for me were it not for him having acne into his 40's.

That is genetics too. I am 48 and have had a lake house for the last 25 years. I spent a great deal of time out in the sun there when building it while in college and was always the darkest tan in the group of my friends. I even spent a great deal of time out in the sun there until just a few years ago. I have no wrinkles on my face at all. If it wasn't for my grayish hair it would be hard to tell my age from my skin.

I'm Asian, in my thirties and occasionally people mistake me for a high school student.

pic?

I'm Asian, 25, and people mistake me for a high school student all the time as well. I was hoping it'd change once I hit my 30s at least. :\

or just have better genes...

The cook is the one eating better. "Organic" food doesn't do anything if you don't eat enough of the right food. Butter for example isn't very bad for you in moderation. Fat in general is not as evil as most think. A hyper-lean diet is also bad for you.

Your calories have to come from somewhere, you can't say sugar is bad, fat is bad, red meat is bad, etc. You are way better off eating healthy oils like olive oil with a little red meat or butter than you are trying to cut your fat intake but indulge in baked/transfat/fried foods.

Regarding the photos of Stacey Dash: she has looked good for a long time, but she is totally either photoshoped or airbrushed or plastic surgeried in the photo posted here. She didn't look that good six or seven years ago when she was in Playboy or in 96 when she was in Clueless. She didn't suddenly get prettier. Don't get me wrong with this post, she is incredibly attractive -- the picture posted here is not her though
