This is what happens when stupidity and bureaucracy get married and have a kid. Yeah, lets take something that's relatively cheap and effective off the market, and replace it with something much more expensive and less effective. I don't know who's to blame (the EPA, some international green stupidity treaty or someone else), but this is absurd.

Another defective sucking the health care tit on my tax dollar. Ron Paul is right. We should just let the sick die. Bad for the gene pool.

you are fucking retarded. how is it you aren't banned for that yet?

also, matthiasa I disagree. they aren't as effective, not for me and a couple other people I know.

also, also, you guys who the heck is raging/bitching against the EPA in this thread? Jaskalas has said the only thing I guess which could be considered "raging", but the rest are mostly against the big government retarded regulation which is completely different than just raging/bitching on the EPA. weird how some of you perceive things.

Was about to inquire about whether there's enough people using the inhalers to make any kind of measurable impact . . . seems my hunch was right. Its nil.

There is a higher level of methane gas expelled from people eating bean burritos at Taco Bell than these inhalers.

No one will miss primatene mist OP. Stop pretending to be informed. Those taking HFA albuterol who say it's not as good as the old stuff aremiss the taste of the propellant in the back of their throat. PFT tests don't lie, the efficacy is the same as the old shit... subjective feelings aren't quantitative.

umbrella, i hadn't even used one very long only two refills before they switched me. it doesn't give me nearly the same effect. i know a couple other people who don't like them as well and maybe you're right as pertaining to them, but definitely wrong with me. I have to hit the diskus more than once to get the same effect i did from my old inhaler. not to mention, people like it and its environmental effects are pretty inconsequential considering cost to consumers.
