EP35-DS3L not actually overclocking...

I'm using an EP35-DS3L and an E8400.

For about 2 months now, I've had my proc running at 4.005 ghz (445 * 9) stable at 1.25v.

After I had my computer shut off for about 8 hours or so today, the clocks reverted to (333 * 9) and default voltages, and no matter what I do I cannot get any voltage/clock changes to stick in the bios. I've cleared the CMOS and updated the BIOS multiple times but to no avail.

Anybody else having these problems, or has a known solution? I searched around a bit, and most people were fine after a CMOS clear/BIOS update. I guess I'm unlucky.

did you reset it properly ? took out battery / shorted both pins ?
i have that combo, had a problem with the motherboard once and replaced it cause it was under 30 days, been overclocking ever since with no issues
