Which one would be best for overclocking?
I'm going to get a Barton 2500+, and initially just overclock using the multiplier, then when I get some decent RAM (PC2700/3200 or something, rather than my current 2100) I'll probably overclock the FSB as well.
I have an Audigy I'm happy to use, only PATA HDD's and no £££ for a Raptor, I don't need Firewire/many USB ports, so the "lite" versions of these boards are what I'm looking at.
I'm on dialup with 1 computer, so NIC stuff isn't important either.
I have a GF4, any boards better than others in terms of DIMM placement?
And any heatsink limitations on any boards? (and any HS reccomendations anyone?)
I only need 5 PCI slots, so the extra that I think the EPoX has wouldn't be needed.
Running Win 2K, will probably end up with 3 DIMM's in the end.
All 3 are almost identical in price (in the UK) at about £60~£65.
I'm upgrading from a KT266A with Palomino 1900+, with stock cooling at the moment, so not heatsink to reuse.
