EP-8NPA Hangs at startup. And runs slow

Hi Guys

Just got a EP-8NPA Last night and upgraded from my dying nforce3 mobo. I have a problem booting. If i power down the computer and then turn it on... everything works fine. But if i restart say from windows it hangs at the beginning. It shows the memory but does not bring up the drives and get stuck. I have to power cycle it and then it comes back... checks memory... and detects drives fine. Any idea?

I just upgraded to new bios too but did not make a any difference. Now this restart thing does not happen all the time... but about 80% of the time. I have a Athlon64 3000+ CPU, nVidia 7600GT 256Mb card, Corsair 1GB memory (2x512), Audigy 2 and 4 hard drives (74GB Raptor; and 3 250GB hitachis).

Also another thing i noticed is when it lists the drives it show them is some wired order. It would list SATA4, SATA3, SATA1 and SATA2. My primary (74GB) is SATA1 but it still lists it at number 3.

Another thing... not sure if i need to tweak the setting but this board boots windows slower then my old DFI LanParty NF3 250GB. Any optimized setting? I have loaded the latest from nVidia drivers for mobo and graphic card.
