Sorry guys, It doesn't blow it away you're right, a lot of the Socket A's are excellent boards..
But, MSI is know for high quality, and extreme stability... (don't they run this very BBS?)

Also, I was talking about the "A" Revision.. but still.
It's a nicer board in my opinion.

I just built an Epox 8KTA+ based system.

Epox 8KTA+
Duron 600 (AST1B AKBA0027APCW; week 27, L1 bridges intact)
Overclocked to 800 at 1.63V
Generic PC133 128 MB (bunta.com brand (VSSBURST), set to CAS 2)
inno3d GeForce 2MX 32mb
Quantum Fireball Plus LM 30 GB
generic winmodem
onboard sound
Sparkle 300W
Taisol 733092 heatsink and fan
Windows 98 SE
Mostly SOHO use; some game use.

Default voltage was 1.53V (core) and 3.85V (I/O)
Raised to 1.63V and overclocked to 800. Game okay.
Raised to 1.65V and overclocked to 850. Game sticks.
Back down to 1.63V and overclocked to 800. Current setting.
Higher voltages (core and I/O) not attempted.

Since I received so much help to build this system, I kind of feel obligated to report this back. Thank you all of you here at Anandtech Forum.
