EP-8KHA+ CPU Question.

I just upgraded from a AThalon 950 to a XP 2200+ (8.5ghz)

I first upgraded the bios to the latest version. That was succesfull.
Loaded defaults.
Then I put in the chip, and started it up.
It said that a new CPU was installed, and it listed it correctly on the screen.
Then it said that it wanted me to manually set the CPU in the bios...

I couldn't find where to do that, so I just saved and exited. The message went away.

The CPU seems to be succesfully detected by the bios and windows, and everything is working ok. Is there any seting I"m missing that I need to mess with or should I just leave it alone?

I'm not overclocking, or planing to.

Thanx!

Lucky you.

I tried to replace my Athlon XP1600+ with a 2400+ and ended up gouging the motherboard when the screwdriver slipped.

Now I have a dead 8KHA+ and a Biostar M7NCDP on order.
