Simple update to this thread. I would have posted there but not certain the original poster's around to update the title for the lower price.
Apparently a deal like this has come up before at this price point.
Anyway, CompUSA has this monitor for 229.99, minus $30 instant savings and a $50 Envision rebate. I checked Staples has it in stock and called a CSR. My CSR gave me the $30 instant without qualm, had to check the rebate and called me back. This rebate is an Envision rebate, NOT a CompUSA rebate, she checked with her supervisor and PM'ed the price on the spot. Since it's available for local pickup, no shipping to PM, free shipping. $149.99 with no MIR. So all that was left to do was drop in some rubber bands and 30 off 150 and free shipping (redundant I know) and $120 for a 19" budget monitor. I didn't add the coupon and finish the deal, had a client call in the middle, and domestic factors preclude sudden buys like this.
Another thought occurred to me, CompUSA has a price matching policy too, depending on the wording or appearance of the receipt, it's conceivable you might be able to PM CompUSA to your Staples receipt and get the rebate too. That one's a little sketchy, but the $120 should be stable as a table.
Reviews seem mixed on this, but it is a 19" monitor that'll run decent refresh rates for only $120 bucks. Not all of us can throw 3-500 at a monitor. And getting it at this price with no waiting for rebates has to count for something, assuming the coupon will go through too, no reason it shouldn't.

Not terribly useful
Amazon, plus possible deal engineering useful price
Verdict: Hot or wot?
