Obama has an assasination attempt?

Assassination attempts which get nowhere close to the POTUS aren't actually big news. It happens from time to time in every administration. They get reported but not as big headlines. The Anthrax scare under Bush got more press mainly because it happened right after 9/11. You should have just assumed that people would find links even if you couldn't remember an incident.

This wasn't the first incident for Trump either.

Donald Trump is president. So, yeah...

Yeah, he is, and they made it a letter.

Trump doesn't read. He ain't touching that.

If they wanted to get to him they would have sent it in a bucket of chicken.

From the article-

The envelopes of castor seeds, the base of a deadly toxin, were addressed to Defense Secretary James Mattis and Chief of Naval Operations Adm. John Richardson, defense officials said.

Castor beans are not ricin. They contain small amounts of ricin & are safe to handle unless you're allergic. I think the guy is some kind of nut job but he's probably not trying to poison anybody.
