Hi everyone :)

About a month ago, I did a clean install to XP, on an Iwill KK266 mb.
Everything is humming fine. Iwill has just released their new XP333 mb that I have been waiting to try out for quite a while. I want to swap boards, without the huge task ( again) of another reformat.( different chipsets, obviously)
Does the trick of deleting the "ENUM" key in the registry work with XP, like it did with 2K???

I think you may want to research Microsoft's System Preparation tool. It can be found on support.microsoft.com. Do a search for "sysprep" Under Windows XP. I use it for work to deploy machines with a standard image.

You will have to look at the switches for what you want, but basically it will remove all devices and shutdown the machine. Then on next boot it will take you through re-adding devices and naming the PC. It will save you from having to re-install all the apps.
