Entry level AC router reviews?

I'm looking into buying an entry level AC router for my house and trying to figure out the best source for reviews. I was a link to a TP link AC1750 C7 that gets mixed reviews. There is also a Netgear AC1750 router.

Device would be used for home use in a house that is about 80 feet wide. I'm trying to move video from a DLNA server to a player.

Anyone recommend a site that focuses on hotspots / routers? anyone recommend a ~$100-$130ish router?

Thanks,

I'm zeroing in on the tp-link c7 (?8) or netgear 6400 ac1750 routers. Any strong opinions? Just household use, so I'm not looking for more than 20 connected devices with 2 users until the kids get older. I guess, in the end I'm using this as connectivity to my basement tv for streaming services and my dlna videos.

If you are going budget, just buy what ever, they are all going to suck. Underpowered processors, single link speeds, and if it has a usb port for storage it will be slow as sin.

So, my current benchmark is the fios supplied router. I'm looking for a modest bump in speed to that. I'm not moving piles of data around the house. I need to pull a 2gig movie out of an Ethernet connection and get it to a tv 25 feet away through a cinderblock wall.

What do you feel us the minimum quality level I need to do that?
