Star Trek: Enterprise: Storm Front

Man I hate baseball. Can the Yankees and the Sox just flip a coin for it the Series and end it already?

It's not even an Enterprise thing. I'm just so sick of these million damn games on every channel all the damn time.

I'm watching it now... haven't watched it in a year.

I was hoping they'd put SpaceShipOne in the opening credits 🙂

It's off here as well. Not for sports, but for a movie "Dreamscape." (Possibly something to do with it being off in other places?)

Frickin UPN. They bump it from Wednesday to Friday, now the ratings are going to get hammered because people never get to WATCH the stupid thing (ala Family Guy and Futurama) and it'll start bombing.

Holy shiite, that was some good television.

When last season ended, I thought, "Stupid! Stupid! Stupid! When Hollywood can't think of anything else, they always throw something together with Nazis."

But it was actually pretty good. It was not cheesy. I was impressed, and I'm looking forward to next week's episode.

...and it's already on suprnova, and there's still 23 minutes until it starts showing here (if it's on... i know it's on sunday for sure).

Let's see what starts first 🙂

i thought it was good. anyone notice the pun with the title being "Storm Front"? it's a play on words against the American-based white supremacist website, stormfront.org. I guess that since this episode was about Nazis having taken over part of the United States (with some references to the Nazis putting "coloreds" into extermination camps) they thought it would be a fitting middle-finger-up to WN's.

They're Remans (of Romulans and Remans). There was a thread about it before, and some uber nerds capped a few shots from the last ST movie of the Remans in it and compared them. 🙂

I ended up watching it on tv, but I've got the HR-HDTV with AC3 audio downloading now just to see 🙂

a-ha! well, that makes sense because now we have a link to... the Romulans! and wasn't a big part of ENT supposed to be the Romulan war? cool..

Actually, Manny Coto (the new producer and head writer) has stated that the Romulan-Earth war would probably not be featured in Enterprise, but more likely addressed in a future series or movie.

Can anyone tell me what happened in the season finale last year, did the war with the Xindi end? Or is that still going on this season? Because the end of this epsiode #2 left me confused. You can PM so there's no spoilers...

Thx!

the war with the xindi is over. not a spoiler since this happened in the last episode of last season.

the reptiles launched the "weapon" at earth, the Captain followed it with some "good" xindi, while the enterprise was off destroying the spheres (which supplied power to the weapon, or something). the Cap managed to destroy the weapon in person with some other Good Guys. the other Good Guys were able to transport off the weapon before it destroyed, but not the Cap. everyone assumes he is dead, they head for home. upon reaching home they discover they're in the 20th century, which starts off episode 1 of this season...

I agree. Moving Star Trek to Friday will kill their ratings. They're already hanging by a thread.

This will most likely be their final season. 🙁

Luckily I have a Tivo machine for Fridays. 😉
